Transition & Pastoral Development

Parish clergy transitions, interim ministries, and search processes all fall under the umbrella of Transition Ministry.

Compensation Guidelines & Mileage Reimbursement

The diocesan rate for a Sunday supply priest is as follows:

• $175 for celebrating and preaching one service on a Sunday
• $50 for every service beyond the first service

Mileage should be reimbursed for a round trip from the priest’s home to the church using the current IRS business rate.
