SYE (for middle school youth) and FYE (for high school youth) are weekend retreats designed and led by youth from the Youth Ministries Team. Beginning with dinner Friday night and going through noon on Sunday, these retreats encourage both faith- and community-building from reflections of God’s message to us through music, art, movies, small group discussions, and more.

The Youth Ministries Team (YMT) of the Diocese of Southwestern Virginia is made of young people in grades 8 -12 and adults from around the diocese. The young people, after participating in a weekend leadership retreat, plans and leads retreats for youth in the diocese, Mission Trips as well as Youth at Council.
