For years our diocese has enjoyed a relationship with the Province of the Episcopal Church of Sudan. Most of that time, we relied on the ministry of our missionary, the Rev. Marc Nikkel . After Marc's untimely death in 2000, we cast about for new ways to express our solidarity with persecuted Christians in Sudan.
