Description

The diocese has recently redesigned its web site, dioswva.org. Digital Faith Community (DFC), a private company that has been spun off from the Episcopal Media Center, was selected for this redesign. As part of the contract with DFC, any of our parishes may move their existing web site or may create a new web site, through us at no additional cost to the parish.  This arrangement would allow a basic set-up (a home page and approximately 4-5 additional pages of content) and monthly site hosting.  If your parish currently has a web site, you would be able to transport the pages over to the new system and, most likely, keep your current web site address.

In order for a parish to have its website hosted through this arrangement, representatives of the parish must attend this training event.  At least two representatives from each church (preferably the rector and the person who will keep the site updated) must attend, but exceptions may be granted on a case-by-case basis.  We expect to offer the training again in mid-to-late 2009.

Once trained, your parish representatives will work directly with DFC on the design of the web site.  To view a parish site created through DFC, visit holytrinity.episcopalatlanta.org.
