There are five committees through which the business of Council is organized:

• Constitution and Canons
• Dispatch of Business
• Finance
• Resolutions
• Tellers

The Finance Committee and the Resolutions Committee always hold open hearings on Friday evening following the eucharist. Depending on need, the Constitution and Canons Committee and/or the Dispatch of Business Committee may hold hearings. The function of the Tellers Committee does not require that hearings be held.
