Certificate of Election
The Certificate of Election is the official form each parish submits listing the delegates and alternates it has selected to represent it at the Annual Council of the Diocese. Forms and instructions are mailed out to parishes in early February and are due back to the diocesan office by March 31. These materials are also available online. Delegates listed on the form have the right to vote at Council. If an elected delegate reported on the Certificate of Election cannot attend Council, transfer of status should be noted in writing to Alan Boyce as soon as possible. E-mail him at aboyce@dioswva.org or send the information to him by US mail . If a transfer of delegate status takes place during Council, Alan Boyce should be so notified in writing, the message delivered to him personally.
