Fall Mission Days
Fall Mission Days are convocation meetings that are held in October and November. At its Fall Mission Day, each convocation chooses its nominees for
- General Convention Deputies (in the year after the most recent General Convention)
- UTO Coordinator (in the year after the most recent General Convention)
- Standing Committee
- Ecclesiastical Trial Court
- Provincial Synod Delegates
Convocations also elect their Deans, Presidents , and representatives to the Executive Board of the diocese.
Fall Mission Days provide opportunity for each convocation to
- prepare resolutions
- prepare amendments to the budget
- gather information regarding Council processes.
All clergy and lay delegates and alternates to Council from the convocation are expected to attend Fall Mission Day. Other parishioners are welcome to attend as well. Bishop Powell attends Fall Mission Days to facilitate the meetings.
