About Council

The Annual Council of the Diocese is a meeting of all canonically resident clergy, clergy in charge of congregations whether canonically resident or not, all lay members of the Standing Committee and the Executive Board , all officers of the diocese , and the lay delegates and alternates elected by the diocese's parishes for the purpose of conducting the business of the diocese. In addition, our Council provides worship, educational, and service opportunities at Council, and visitors are welcome to participate in these and to attend all other aspects of Council. In between Councils, the Executive Board of the diocese is responsible for carrying out the policies and decisions made by Council. Council 2006
